Being a first time mom is hard. Being 2nd time mom 16 months later is a crazy and challenging all at once from conception to postpartum! I GET IT and I GET YOU!
I have always been the one to try and figure out "what was wrong with me" at different periods of my life. I always felt too distracted and unmotivated, yet extremely ambitious over personal and career aspirations. Heck, my aspirations for how I want the house to look are even high!
I grew up highly artistic, athletic and very social. Spiritually - a cradle Catholic if you will, but not really putting into practice until my college years after a horrible semester and difficult breakup.
But as Scripture goes, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jer 29:11.
God sure did. I went on a wild ride becoming a Catechist, youth and young adult minister, women's ministry leader, and most importantly a parish Director of Religious Education. Previously conferring both Human Services and Anthropology degrees, I then went on to complete my Masters in Catechetics and Evangelization so I can best serve the Church - to me the most important thing of all.
This has led me here: to postpartum doula and wellness coaching. I have decided to help be your coach to reach your goals - body, mind and soul. in the immediate postpartum stages! As cliché as that sounds, it is true. God created us as whole beings and sometimes we get misaligned. My goal is to assist and support you, customize a plan spiritually, physically, nutritionally, and encourage self care when needed in order to cultivate holiness and happiness towards your important vocation as mother!
